Differently Abled  People’s Congress

In order to support the differently abled population and to stand for their rights, congress party decided to bring together all the organization working for the rights of the differently Peoples across the state under one roof called Differently Abled people’s Congress (DAPC). There are about 27 lakh differently abled people across the state and their socio-economic condition is appalling. Though 8% of our population is disabled, Past governments, political parties and NGOs have not been able to address their problems as such. DAPC was formed on 21st January 2010 at Indirabhavan. Thalekkunnil Basheer, KPCC Vice-President, is in charge of this cell and kottamom Vimal Kumar is the state president of DAPC.
