Ex-Service men Congress


In 2001 June, AICC nominated Capt.P.K.R. Nair as the state chairman of the Ex-Servicemen Congress. Thereafter district Committees were formed in all districts, In 2004 AICC approved it as one of the departments in AICC, since then Ex-Servicemen Congress has been working among Ex-Servicemen making sure that their voice is heard at the highest echelons of political India. Some of the main achievements of Ex-servicemen Congress have been in the implementation of ‘one rank-one pension’ norm and medical aid from ECHS for EX-servicemen of paramilitary forces.
The granting of all these demands by the central government were undoubtedly as a result of the Congress was held in Thrissur on 29th march 2009.
